Your typical help wanted ad will generally consist of the following information: job title, years experience required, desired computer skills, salary and a quick synopsis of the company (example: Growing, fast paced construction company seeks…)  Yes, those are the basics, but what is not listed in the ad is the truth:  Seeking a "master of all interpersonal skills."
What I mean by this is, the basic skills will get your foot in the door, but what sets you apart and will ultimately win the interviewer over is the ability to wear many hats.  Not necessarily all at once, but when a situation presents itself, can you play more than just your assigned role?
Here are some of the skills to master in order to get ahead of the pack:
Facilitator
The facilitator is a leader disguised as a middle-man.  The facilitator is the one who will always keep the project forging ahead as well as remaining flexible enough to work through any difference in opinions along the way.
Coach
Motivation, encouragement, education.  All of these  qualities are evident in a coach.  The coach will keep the sense of urgency while fostering all ideas brought in by the team members.
Administrator
Administrators have it all when it comes to keeping the ball moving and projects on track.  They will keep you updated, assign roles, and prepare everyone with the correct policies and procedures.
