Summer is around the corner and plans for vacation are being made as we speak, but sometimes the stress of being out of the office can take the fun out being free from the office.  Here are a few easy ways to take care of business while taking in the rays.
Step One:  Notice
Figure out when will be the appropriate time to leave the office.  Make sure your schedule is free and clear of any important engagements that you are required to attend.  Sixty to ninety days is considered by most places of employment an adequate amount of notice.
Step Two:  Communication
Be sure to inform all of your colleagues that you will be away from the office for how ever many days you will be vacationing.  Also inform any important clients as to how long you will be gone.
